Your Guide 💫

Deanna (they/them) is a Revolutionary Somatics Guide supporting folks to unlock bodymind + community sovereignty. They have a background in subversive dance, performance art & media and work at the crossroads of personal + relational + systemic sovereignty. Their counter-oppressive methodologies weave body & sense based exploratory movement & nervous system practices, Radical Dharma teachings, revolutionary astrology and systems change.

Accessibility:

  • Tiny Postcards is on the ground level, with two steps into the space + wheelchair accessible ramp access.

  • There is a restroom on site that accommodates wheelchairs & mobility aids.

  • Street parking is available around all cross streets.

  • The nearest Metro stop is at Virginia and Mount Pleasant or Delor. Tiny Postcards is a one-block walk from both stops.

  • The environment is low-scent.

  • Fidgets & art supplies are available.

  • Masks required & some will be provided - facilitator will be unmasked for some portions of the seminar for demonstrations

  • Open to all identities, bodies & experiences, variations provided throughout, all guidance is invitational, trauma-informed, neurocognitive-informed & counter-oppressive.
