Explore somatic transformation through archetypes & metaphors of astrology

6:30-7:45pm every New Moon at Empowered Spaces

Connect to your own star chart, body/mind/relational alignment and energetic sovereignty by working with the actual transits & cycles occurring in each new Lunar Month.

Astrology is a system of metaphors and patterns that help give archetypal, exploratory practice for many domains of human life. 💫

Astrology doesn’t “predict the future” but gives us a reflection to navigate our current path in the grand scheme of Earth’s path, with more perspective, more wisdom, and more ways to make revolutionary choices & take revolutionary actions within the same limiting conditions that effect all life around our Earth.

As a lifelong dancer turned somatic guide, I know that flexibility & adaptability are key ingredients to weathering periods of imbalance & instability. And as a counter-oppressive somatic systems weaver, I am fascinated with the ways we can pathfind through times of collapse by returning to our body’s innate wisdom of sensation, emotion, narrative and contextual relationship. We can do this through sensing, through sound, through movement, through our living natural world and through creative exploration betwixt it all, together. 🤝🏻

Image of a somatics studio with 6 mats set out in colors of blue, green and purple, blankets near each mat, sound bowls in the corner, a palm plant and two tall lanterns, all atop a grey wood floor with grey walls

Includes a 25-minute crystal singing bowl sound bath, exploratory somatic movement, astro wisdom tuned to your natal chart & journal prompts to guide you through synergizing alignment with the New Moon + Sun Sign Astro Transits of the month.

  • Bring a journal, wear cozy clothes for light movement & anything else that helps you get in tune with you!

  • Mats, bolsters, chairs, blankets, tea, fidgets & art making supplies provided. A water bottle is recommended to bring, food and snacks are prohibited.

  • Participants also encouraged to look up their rising sign & house placements in advance - I recommend Time Nomad or the Chani app.
